Description
Tracy's music is often somber but when she smiles her face is full of joy, peace and hope. I mixed orange into ivory black and a buff titanium to create warmth. The face is rendered with a brush while the rest of the painting is done with a heavy impasto with a knife. While I did use photo references, this image is a combination of several photos, so you will not see this exact image anywhere on the web. 12 x16" oil on wood panel, 2020
