Artist's Description
This is my second painting of Bluefish Cove at Point Lobos, Carmel, California. The first one was painted at an Art Appreciation day at the park. It was sold to a couple of admires who happened to be passing by as I was packing up for the day. This second landscape was painted in the studio. I took more liberty with the color and because is’t larger that it’s predecessor, I added more detail.

That could be an event, like a surprising diagnosis or the unexpected death of a close friend. These events give us time to pause and reflect. A common vehicle into my psyche is music. This led me to start painting singer-songwriters whose music has impacted me. Look into their eyes. For a moment time stops. Music and memories take over.
